It’s 1986’s AMERICAN ANTHEM starring ACTUAL American Olympic Gymnastic Medalist, Mitch Gaylord, playing a, well, 1986 version of an American Olympic Gymnastic Medalist who must choose between pole vaulting, working at his dad’s bike shop and a 1986 version of Janet Jones (Wayne Gretsky’s real life wife)! Will Steve be able to make it to the Olympics before he’s stuck riding quads and fixing bike engines or whatever for life? Will Julie make it to the Olympics before she’s stuck raising attractive athletic kids with Steve? Will America reign supreme at this fake Olympic trial tryout?
