Odes Only: A love letter poetry slam

With Love: Passenger Poet
Get ready for a competition worth of heart eyes! We’re looking for the sweetest, sexiest, sappiest, most earnest original writings on the topic of love! Hold your boombox outside of a window, run through the airport, kiss in the rain, wear your heart on your sleeve – then bring it to the mic!
Come to watch or to compete
Rules for competing:
-The slam will be a three round performance competition
-Each competitor will be granted up to 4 minutes to recite their original work
-All pieces must be on the topic of love
-All pieces must begin with an address of “To:_______
From_____”
Then conclude with a verbal signature [sincerely, with love, etc]
-The top 6 performers will advance to the second round
-The top 3 performers will advance to the final round
-3 judges will be randomly assigned from the audience to score each round on a scale of 1-10.
-The poet with the highest cumulative score will be the winner.
