Taking the lead of Seattle greats from Jimi Hendrix to Soundgarden to Brandi Carlile, Duba borrows from the past while pursuing the next sound to excite listeners. His first string of releases are centered around the collective anxieties of people living in a time of war and climate crisis.
SelfDoubt is a Seattle native, and it shows! Sounds like rain, gray skies, sarcasm inside an acoustic guitar. Influences are Alkaline Trio, Joy Division, and theoretical physics.
