Bands and Burlesque with 1876, Fly Honey, Vena Kahlo, Blanca Dorado, and Morgue Anne
1876 is an Indngenous punk rock band from Portland OR, that proudly hails from the Blackfeet, Northern Cheyenne and Oglala nations. Mixing traditional indigenous instruments with punk rock, they have created a sound they have dubbed “pow wow punk rock.” Get your elbows greased in the pit. Hear the sounds of ndngenous triumph in their sing along choruses. Feel the heart beat of their people, with their pow wow drum. Pow wow punk rock; if you’re for it, it’s for you.
Fresh off completing their debut record Lazy Sunflower, Fly Honey is a genre defiant mix of infectious tunes about staying centered in the chaos, this trio of brothers can be heard buzzing their way through Seattle’s favorite venues. Founded in drummer Gabe’s dank basement, singer/guitarist Alex and bassist Paul minted a band determined to share their sounds with their community.
Introducing Seattle’s Pit of Souls. She moves like homemade tequila on fire. The Bubblegum Priestess of Burlesque: Vena Kahlo! Known for her eclectic taste: Drama, sex, comedy, she does it all. From tech to tease, she has devoted her tits to every aspect of naked storytelling. Whether picking up panties or throwing her panties at you, she will entice you with her bubblegum hair, soul sucking stare, and curves that scream “livin’ la vida Frida”.
Blanca Dorado is your favorite Demonexx, a macabre and sultry seductress. Member of Seattle’s House De Corvo.
Morgue Anne is Elected Gothic Royalty and Seattle’s Burlesque Super Villainess. The Plague Queen haunts stages all around the Pacific Northwest with her blend of macabre and grace.
