DESCRIPTION:Odes Only: A love letter poetry slam  \nTo: All poets\, writers\, and Havers of Hearts\nWith Love: Passenger Poet  \nGet ready for a competition worth of heart eyes! We’re looking for the sweetest\, sexiest\, sappiest\, most earnest original writings on the topic of love! Hold your boombox outside of  a window\, run through the airport\, kiss in the rain\, wear your heart on your sleeve – then bring it to the mic! \nCome to watch or to compete  \n Rules for competing:\n-The slam will be a three round performance competition\n-Each competitor will be granted up to 4 minutes to recite their original work\n-All pieces must be on the topic of love\n-All pieces must begin with an address of “To:_______\n  From_____”\nThen conclude with a verbal signature [sincerely\, with love\, etc]\n-The top 6 performers will advance to the second round\n-The top 3 performers will advance to the final round\n-3 judges will be randomly assigned from the audience to score each round on a scale of 1-10. \n-The poet with the highest cumulative score will be the winner.  \nDoors and sign up open: [8pm]\nShow starts: [:30]\nWe can’t wait to see you there!
