Two days after she celebrates the anniversary of coming into the world\, she wants to celebrate all over again with you! She’s bringing some of her favorite burlesque performers to the Jewelbox Theatre! For filthy fifties\, she’s going to partake in two of her favorite pleasures: burlesque and cover songs!\n“The best covers fall into one of two camps\,” said creator\, Miss Violet DeVille. “The first is the cover that pays homage to the original\, while the second is a cover that takes the song and makes something different yet harkens back to the original. Two examples are Metallica’s cover of Turn the Page and Johnny Cash’s cover of Hurt. The former is a stunning homage to the original and the latter is a paragon of an artist making the song their own.”\nUNCOVERED GOLD: A Burlesque Birthday Bash 50 Years in the Making is October 1st at the Rendezvous Jewelbox Theatre\, located at 2322 2nd Ave in Seattle. Uncovered Gold is hosted by Boom Boom L’Roux and features performances from Miss Violet DeVille\, DasBee\, Moxie Blue\, Scandal from Bohemia\, Morgue Anne\, Morgan LaMay\, and Dahlia Ste. Cyr. Tickets for the Front Row (with a birthday present\, no less!) are $40\, tickets for Second Row seating are $30\, General Admission is $20\, and all tickets are available at http://pdpr.biz/gold. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the show begins at 7:00 pm.\nCOVID guidelines and precautions are in effect.\n• Audience members need to mask up when not eating or drinking.\n• Masking is required when interacting with a member of the cast or crew.\n• Proof of vaccination is required to attend the show.
