The Rendezvous

“L.A. karate… I’m impressed….”

It’s March Madness at TEC and we have an important trivia question for you Enemaniacs out there: What are the most iconic fillms you can think of set in Seattle? Singles? Sleepless in Seattle? Frasier? WRONG. You’re forgetting the GREATEST underdog story ever committed to celluloid that ALSO happens to be set in Seattle. That’s right, 1986’s NO RETREAT, NO SURRENDER! A tour de force about the triumph of the human spirit, late night garage kung fu training with the ghost of Bruce Lee and JEAN CLAUDE VAN DAMME. Will Jason be able to use the “skills” he’s learned from his late night sessions with a dead Bruce Lee to stop a crime syndicate from taking over Seattle? Will karate be confused with kung fu and vice versa? Will JCVD do the splits ENOUGH? You’ll have to come to the next TEC LIVES!! to find out!!
