Disillusioned by current politics? Powerless about injustices and extremes mushrooming around the world? Feeling out of control not knowing where we are headed? Wanting to stick your head in the sand? Wondering how to be make a difference in our world?

A mix of drama and comedy, ACT IN THE PUBLIC HEART is a personal journey on the surface, yet it is a layered universal journey providing inspiration, and a refreshing context about how to navigate these times.

Be prepared to hear your heart whisper, feel into your body and explore what has the potential to transform us and tackle the most complex problems of our time…

ACT IN THE PUBLIC HEART, A Lawyer’s Journey is an inspired one hour show written and performed by Franca Baroni, an immigration attorney, actress, award-winning author, and advocate for heart-centered lawyering and life. It is directed by Simone Brueyere Fraser, an artist and actress who has worked in Los Angeles, New York and WA State and currently seen as Virgila in Shakespeare’s “Coriolanus – Fight Like a Bitch”.

-)A real-life “Moana” story, a woman, a lawyer discovering the greater heart of humanity through her personal and collective quest for freedom and justice…

-) A journey of heart-awakening reminding us that challenges and struggles turn into our greatest opportunities…

-) The human experience blended with modern scientific heart discoveries…

-) The emergence of the feminine cracking into our failing patriarchal structures…

Heart and law is often deemed an oxymoron yet Franca shows us a different perspective.

“Another world is not only possible, she is on her way. On a quiet day, I can hear her breathing.” ~ Arundhati Roy
